Today Romford welcomed newly promoted Bishops Stortford, the game started off fairly evenly, until Loz broke the dead lock with a beautiful strike from a short corner tucking it nicely in the bottom corner. Team talk from the ever present coach who told us to keep our shape and push forward this we did in abundance and it wasn't long before Sonata scored from a rebound, this was then followed by yet another from sonata giving her a brace, with some lovely play from the forwards and mids and the defence switching around the back, Romford dominated the second half, Bishops Stortford did try to push forward but the fortress of defence held strong. Leah then had an opportunity from just inside the D and took her chance nicely with the ball nestled in the far corner, 4-0 Romford, then in the final minutes with a great cross ball Katie slotted the ball home for our first win 5.0. A really good win today with everyone playing their part and bagging all 3 points and a clean sheet.
